The year 814, prophesied by C.J. to include members of the Rat Pack: 1) finding love with their greatest enemy, 2) embracing what the others stand against, 3) being transformed in the fires of heaven, 4) returning to the fold only to watch as what they came for is destroyed, 5) leaving Ataniel forever, 6) building a legacy to last a hundred years at the cost of what they hold dearest, and 7) ending the year with new life within them.
Yykriynyin Rykiryniyi, "Yyrkie" to his friends, is a mad Diari nobleman who accidentally ascended to the Emperorship after Anjra's assassination. His deeds as Emperor have thus far included naming his hand to the Senate, outlawing psionics, purchasing many foreign sex slaves for the palace, and cornering the market on all goods beginning with the letter 'Y'. Scarily, this still makes his reign a saner and less dangerous one than Emperor Anjra's, which included colonizing the Shadowlands and attempting to torture Belle the Assassin into service for the state.
