Worlds of Xeen Spoilers
Welcome to the new Computer Games Spoilers section of
my gaming website. I added this section because I recently received questions about the plots of two different games which, to my surprise
and embarrassment, I had totally forgotten the answers to. Then, to my further surprise, I was unable to find any existing website that
would refresh my memory about the plots of computer games... lots of puzzle solutions, but no basic plot summaries.

So I figured I'd better write some of them down while they're still fresh in my mind, just in case I or anybody else wants to refer to them
at some point in the future (or in case anybody suffers a major game glitch and just wants to know what was supposed to happen in the end--
I get letters like this from time to time.) If you haven't finished Worlds of Xeen yet and you don't want the plot of this game
to be revealed to you, then you don't want to read this page. Please go back to my main
Worlds of Xeen page, where I give tips and reviews without
giving away any of its plot.
But if you are looking for plot spoilers, just scroll further down the page to find them!
Plot Summary
Most of this pair of games was just
general exploring and completing unrelated quests in order to get things from people.
There was, however, also a main quest-- spread out over the course of both games--
in which the player's party must save the world by defeating the evil Lord Xeen,
defeating recurring villain Alamar/Sheltem, and reuniting the two halves of Xeen into a
single planet.
Character Subplots and Secrets
Lord Xeen: The villain of Might and Magic IV (Clouds of Xeen), Lord Xeen is an undead
overlord who has disguised himself as the king's brother Roland in order to control the king and
take over the realm.
King Burlock: The ruler of the light side of Xeen. The evil Lord Xeen corrupted Burlock's
mind, causing him to be obsessed with finding
the Sixth Mirror for Lord Xeen. When the party finally defeats Lord Xeen, Burlock becomes
rather sheepish about the whole thing and asks them to go to the dark side to find the real Prince
Roland.
Crodo: King Burlock's advisor, he has been imprisoned in a tower by Lord Xeen. He contacts
the party in their dreams to ask them for help. Eventually they succeed in freeing him.
Alamar: The villain of the Might and Magic V (Darkside of Xeen), Alamar is actually the
recurring Might and Magic extraterrestrial villain Sheltem.
He is defeated by his arch-enemy Corak after the party frees Corak from imprisonment.
Corak: Corak is also a recurring Might and Magic character, a planetary guardian who was created
by the Ancients to defeat Sheltem. He plays a heroic role in Might and Magic V, sacrificing himself
to destroy Sheltem forever in a dramatic cutscene movie.
Prince Roland: The real Roland is being held prisoner by Alamar in his castle on the Dark Side.
After the party rescues him, he marries Queen Kalindra and the two leaders perform the rituals to
unite the two halves of their world.
Queen Kalindra: The ruler of the dark side of Xeen, she was also imprisoned by Alamar. After
the party rescues her and defeats Alamar, she marries Roland, thus joining the two halves of
Xeen politically as well as physically.
