Wizards and Warriors Spoilers
Welcome to the new Computer Games Spoilers section of
my gaming website. I added this section because I recently received questions about the plots of two different games which, to my surprise
and embarrassment, I had totally forgotten the answers to. Then, to my further surprise, I was unable to find any existing website that
would refresh my memory about the plots of computer games... lots of puzzle solutions, but no basic plot summaries.

So I figured I'd better write some of them down while they're still fresh in my mind, just in case I or anybody else wants to refer to them
at some point in the future (or in case anybody suffers a major game glitch and just wants to know what was supposed to happen in the end--
I get letters like this from time to time.) If you haven't finished Wizards and Warriors yet and you don't want the plot of this game
to be revealed to you, then you don't want to read this page. Please go back to my main
Wizards and Warriors page, where I give tips and reviews without
giving away any of its plot.
But if you are looking for plot spoilers, just scroll further down the page to find them!
Plot Summary
Most of this game was just
general exploring and completing unrelated quests in order to get things from people. There
was a main quest, which was foreshadowed by the Oracles and a few other NPC's stating that
the player's party are the Chosen Ones prophesied to save the world from evil.
The party has to collect magic items and pass tests
in order to acquire the super-magical sword they need to do this.
Near the end, the angel Kerah finally appears to the party and asks them to
revive the mythical warrior Anephas and defeat an evil pharaoh named Lord Cet.
It is possible to join Cet and permit him to possess one of your characters instead, in which
case the character's portrait changes to a creepy undead Egyptian one. Otherwise, the party
can defeat Cet and save the day.
Character Subplots and Secrets
Gareth: A kindly old village elder who is murdered at the beginning of the game.
Grue Morde: The lizardman assassin who killed Gareth. Your party encounters him at the very
outset of the game, when he asks them if Gareth is still living in Valeia. It doesn't matter what
the party answers, he will assasinate Gareth anyway.
Lysandra of Yur: Your standard sexy evil monster chick. She's a vampire and holds one of the
elements you seek, but instead of just killing her, you can either steal it from her, or let her bite
you and she will give it to you herself.
Kol the Heretic: For some reason he believes the prophecy is about him, not about your party.
He claims Kerah told him so, but it's not clear whether he just imagined this or she was jerking
him around somehow. He helps the party for a while, but is eventually killed by the dragon
Erathsmedor for bothering him about the prophecy without knowing how to pass his test.
G'Ezerred Ra: A poignant character, this lonely old lich just likes to sit around listening to music.
He regrets having no soul and wants to
help the party to defeat Cet by giving them a weapon that can
damage him. Cet punishes him for this by tearing his heart out. G'Ezerred Ra then asks the party
to destroy his heart so that he can die in peace.
Nivius, D'Soto, and Erathsmedor: These are the three "Watchers" who test you before allowing you to have the
Sword of the Mavin. The first two are ghosts, the third a dragon.
