Storyline Preferences for the Ataniel Storyboard
Extant Storylines
- At The Mithril Dagger
- This plotline will acquire a sense of purpose (and probably a new name) as it
goes along. Characters of all sorts are welcome.
- Coming of Age
- A team of young adventurers band together to investigate an unusual archaeological
find and wind up learning more than they'd bargained for. This plotline is being 'captained' by Laura, in the same
vein as "We'll Always Have Paris" was by Doug last time around. In other words, Laura has a general plot arc,
several plot points, a couple twists, and some planned character stuff in mind, and is willing to take point on the
script as necessary. However, she also encourages everyone to add to the plot at will--the story is very flexible
and many of its specifics depend completely on what the party decides to do, so don't be shy to yank it off in
any direction that interests you (as we did several times in "WAHP"). Plotline geared towards young, low-level
adventurers and those with unorthodox abilities; combat titans are not encouraged for this one.
- The Ask Dr. Swank Show!
- You will probably be able to figure this out on your own, but this plotline is pure comic
relief. If Dr. Swank says your character is gay, it doesn't mean he has to be gay in the real Ataniel. If someone
writes for your character saying something stupid in Swank's Metafictive Bar & Grill, it isn't canon. If someone
writes for you saying something stupid in Swank's Metafictive Bar & Grill, write back and thumb your
nose. Dr. Swank is just for fun. Don't get stress. (-:
